Law of segregation of allele pairs:
When you cross two individuals from the from the first filial generation F1, the allele pairs segregate and recombine independently from each other. The F2 generation will be similar to the grandparents.

When you cross two pure breeds of contrasting characters the F1 product will be identical in its manifestation and the dominant character will be expressed in the phenotype.
Brown male homozygous X Female Phaeo homozygous

All the progeny will be of Brown phenotype and carriers of Phaeo |
